Meet Maxine

Originally from Victoria BC, Maxine started her makeup journey fifteen years ago. Her Cosmopolitan lifestyle took her to Melbourne where her interest in fashion and makeup was ignited. After receiving a Diploma in specialized makeup, she spent some time assisting and volunteering at Melbourne Fashion week.

Eventually returning to Canada she settled down in Vancouver and was offered a sales job with Nars Cosmetics. Seven years with Nars saw Maxine go from working at a retail counter to training other Nars artists throughout western Canada. A changing point in her career happened when she was asked to attend New York and London fashion week. Working under some of the top artists in the world inspired Maxine to leave the sales world and focus on a freelance makeup career.  

Trusting the divine timing of her transition she was approached to join the legendary roster of artists with Vancouver creative agency, Nobasura.  Today she is a leader in her industry and is a regular on set with some of Canada’s top fashion brands. Experience aside Maxine is well known for her calming, positive energy and colorful presence on set.
