Makeup brushes and products will be available for you to work with but you are also encouraged to bring your own makeup bag in case you want to learn more about what you already have.

Please fill out a questionnaire upon booking completion to describe exactly what it is you're hoping to learn. Keep in mind that workshops go by fast and we don't always get a chance to cover all topics but Maxine will do her best to help you feel more confident in what you want to learn about.

Our Workshop Ethos
Hosting makeup workshops is something I’ve been dreaming up for a long time. Helping others to understand how to use tools, products and learn techniques brings me so much joy. Seeing someone's face light up when they see a micro makeup transformation is a great feeling and what sparked my initial interest in makeup over fifteen years ago. This isn’t about changing how you look, it's about being the best version of you.
My workshops are for anyone and everyone who is interested to learn more about how to do their own makeup. In an industry saturated with information and products I hope to offer a calm and simple approach to teaching you how to enhance and elevate your own application ritual. These classes are in person because I believe that to really learn is to be present and to be able to touch and feel.
Imagine a small group setting with your own personal makeup station and great selection of products hand selected by an industry professional. Starting with a demonstration and then jumping into hands-on playtime with plenty of opportunity for questions and exploration. It’s not about you leaving with a face full of perfect makeup but rather some confidence to try something new and feel better about how you choose to wear your makeup.
Come as you are and be open to making some mistakes and having some A-ha moments. Never forget that Makeup is supposed to be fun!
